Nesting may work for birds but does it work for human families ? The idea is rather than one spouse receiving the house in a divorce,  the children actually “receive” the house. Each parent lives there, but only when they have time the children. At first blush the idea sounds good but problems financially  could arise. It is expenses to maintain a house while also paying rent for an apartment. Does it allow a divorcing couple to move on not just financially but emotionally. How does dating come into play ? How would a potential new spouse feel about there love one still “living’ with their ex?
